Note: If the center part of the square does not set well, you may want
to (1) replace the dc stitches in Rnd 2 with hdc stitches or (2) replace
the 4-tr-bobbles in Rnd 3 with 4-dc-bobbles.

Rnd 1:
{start with yarn A} ch 4, slst in initial ch to form a ring [4]

Rnd 2: ch 5 (count as dc + ch 2), (dc + ch 2) repeat 7 times into the ring,
fasten off with an invisible join to 4th ch [8 + 16 ch]

Rnd 3: {join yarn B in any ch-space, make your first stitch a standing stitch} (4-tr-bobble in ch-space, ch 4 loosely)
repeat 8 times, fasten off with an invisible join to first ch after initial 4-tr-bobble [8 petals + 32 ch]

Note: In Rnd 4, you change color by making the ch after the color-
change instructions with the new color. The next round of stitches will
cover the chain stitch, so it won’t be visible.

Rnd 4: {join yarn C in any ch-space, make your first stitch a standing
stitch, Carry yarn A when not in use} [5-dc-bobble + slst in ch-space,
           {change to yarn D} ch 1, tr + ch 1 + tr + ch 1 + tr + ch 2 + tr + ch 1 + tr +
           ch 1 + tr in next ch-space, {change to yarn C} ch 1] repeat 4 times, fasten
off with an invisible join to slst after initial 5-dc-bobble [28 + 32 ch]

Note: Work the sc stitches loosely in Rnd 5.

Rnd 5: {join yarn E in any corner-space, make your first stitch a standing stitch} (2 sc + ch 2 + 2 sc in corner-space, 2 sc in next 6 ch-spaces)
repeat 4 times, fasten off with an invisible join to 2nd stitch [64 + 8 ch]

Rnd 6: {join yarn D in any corner-space, make your first stitch a standing stitch} (4 dc in corner-space, BPdc around next 16 st)
repeat 4 times, fasten off with an invisible join to 2nd stitch [80]
